Seeking a SMART, OUTGOING, HARDWORKING team member to serve as a patient concierge and receptionist for our front office. Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming face to patients
- Answer phones knowledgeably and confidently
- Comfortably handle patient questions and concerns
- Schedule appointments with ease
- Billing
- Insurance verification
- Communicate friendly, appropriate conversations with patients and parents
- Other general dental administration and office duties
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Knowledgeable in general billing and insurance filing procedures for dentistry and orthodontics
- Excellent computer skills and the willingness to learn new skills quickly
- Outgoing personality, someone who can easily work and carry on friendly, appropriate conversations with patients and parents
- A RELIABLE, team-oriented SELF-STARTER; you must be able to take initiative to begin and complete tasks without being asked
- Experience with treatment coordination and patient/doctor communication
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and VOIP phone systems
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental Insurance Billing: experience (preferred)
