As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will take charge of medical records and billing duties. You will need knowledge of working with medical insurance. A bonus of your are proficient in PPO, medicare, medi-cal and medi-cal HMO insurances. Medical office experience is a must! Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Screen and answer phone calls
- Collect payments and follow up on unpaid insurance claims
- Coordinate with insurance companies for medical billing
- Check insurance eligibility and pre-authorizations
- Schedule appointments
- Other front desk billing duties
Requirements
- Experience in a medical setting required
- Experience with insurance required
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- High school or equivalent
