Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records confidentially (HIPAA GUIDELINES)
• Record patient charges, take copays
• Managing authorizations
• Maintain work area, exam rooms, supplies, medications and immunizations
• Perform basic triage per specific office protocol procedures
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
• Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration
• Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Medical office or similar experience or education
• If you are not experienced, but you have a certification from an accredited medical assistant or similar program, please apply
• Experience as a receptionist, medical biller, treatment coordinator, etc is a plus
• Huge plus to have an x-ray license, not required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology
• Knowledge of medications and injection procedures
